try adding powdered sugar as well as a few splashes of grenadine, sour mix (instead of soda) and then some 7up. shake it around until the sugar is disolved and serve as is...tastes great! it works for any sour

If you aren't into the sourness of Amaretto Sour try taking out the Lemon Juice and sugar and instead use Amaretto and Sprite!! I absolutely live by this drink!!!

If you like this should try a flaming Dr.Pepper. Fill up a pint glass with beer, and then fill up a 1 1\2oz shot glass with amaretto topped with 151. Light it on fire and, drop into glass and chug. MMMmm boy.

this drink is really acidic so try a little lemon juice and a lot of spite. It helps settle your tummy!

This is the first time I made an amaretto sour without the sour mix and it came out great. I like that sour kick and saved me some cash.

2 oz amaretto, 1/2 oz triple sec, 1 egg white, juice of 1 lemon and 1 lime, sugar rimmed glass, garnish with a cherry. The egg white makes this drink as it creates a foam on the top

My Favorite

Try mixing amaretto and Dr. Pepper in a 50/50 mix. It makes it a bit strong, retaining its superior taste.

For you diabetics or carb watchers: 1 cup lemon juice + 1 cup Splenda + 2 quarts water = sugar free lemonade or sweet and sour mix. Add Amaretto to taste. DiSarrono is the best!

An amaretto sour is the best drink I know of. It is sweet, delicious, and tastes as if its devoid of any alcohol. You can drink them and not feel sick, but be mindful that if you have too many, they can surprise you with a nice state of intoxication. Other than that, i've loved them since I first tried one on my 21st birthday with my mom in Atlantic City.

Foamy amaretto sour

To: Australian Way by Vincent Volpe: I've been looking for the recipe that has foam on top. What did you do to the egg white to make it foam on top-blend it?
