The tonic's so potent that you could mix it half and half and it would still kill the taste of the Vodka. It's even better with a couple of limes in the tall glass with rocks.

When I make it myself, I'll add 1/2 oz of roses lime juice both for taste and a little bit of color. Best enjoyed with people that matter most by a crimson sunset - preferably by the water.

this is a good girly cocktail, if you're not a fan of beer. and it's really good for use with flavored vodkas, if you don't want it as strong.

one time i passed out from booze and heat while drinking these. they were so tasty id still call it a good day. this is sprite for adults, and its true about it hiding the bitterness of vodka. it brings out the flavor of the vodka, and its forgiving to unfamilar bartenders. always with a lime; i dont know why its not in the receipe. i get this every time.

This drink and a game of poker (or Blackjack if you're in a casino) make a great combination. Nice to have a Vodka drink that's actually refreshing. Also this drink works really well if you have to use cheap vodka because the tonic kills the taste.

Fruit cocktail

I cant handle the strong taste of liquer but like the others said before me, it is excellent with the tonic. It is very easy to drink and get tipsy/drunk. I like it best with a splash of lime, lemon, and a cherry. The fruity flavors compliment each other and is like drinking an ocean of fruit cocktail. yuuuuuummmmyyyy. ofcourse i eat the cherry last so that it absorbs all the alcohol from the bottom. :)

this drink is awesome with 3 limes. It is jsut like drinking lime water, so you can drink it all night without getting that yuck feeling you get from really sweet girly drinks.

I'd prefer a screwdriver or a lemon drop. Tonic water is really bitter. Not too bad though, if you overpower it with lime just so you taste something other than the bitterness. Very good drink if you don't want to taste the vodka, though.

I had never even heard of this drink until four months ago after a night out. My boss introduced the drink to me and I've been hooked since then. This drink is so smooth and sophisticated. I prefer it with Gray Goose Vodka.

Great with lots of ice and a splash of lemon juice and a lemon slice. Mmmmm! You can also use flavored vodka and flavored seltzer water to get creative with this drink! :) Rasperry vodka and lime seltzer water = YUM!

I'd like to add that if you make it at a 2:3 ratio versus 2:4 it's still palatable, just 'cuts the fat' on the drink.

This is a drink you don't have to have to think about to like. You don't evev have to have a brain, which is something, should you do have one, you can lose it here. Just keep drinking. Plain, with lime, lemond, with grenadine, etc.; it's all the same. Just don't drive and have a good time. The pleasure is all yours.
