A pink lady and a pink squirrel were the first fancy drinks drinks that started my introduction to mixed drinks and they are nice but, not really for serious drinkers.

I make mine with 1 1/2 oz Gin, 1/2 oz Grenadine, 1oz Cream.. mostly serve them up - rather popular in Panama City Beach.. Probably one of my top 5 served drinks (#1 being Frozen Strawberry Daquiri.. ugh)

I have never had a pink lady --- I would like to make one for my mother --- for old times sake -- what about the whole egg white --- I'm thinking that could be dangerous --- raw egg and all.

Hmmm I have had pink lady myself but no white eggs... Yiaks ...

If you are concerned about egg whites, use egg beaters or any egg substitute. They are just egg whites with yellow die and they are pasteurized, so no salmonilla. Do this in any drink that calls for eggs.

I tried a pink lady for the first time not knowing what was in it. i dont know if they just didnt make it right but to me it tasted like dish soap with alcohol in it. it just wasnt good at all.

the flavor of the gin really comes through in this drink, since it has no sugar... if you don't like gin straight up, i don't know how much you'll like pink ladies

Agree with the review above--very tasty, but the gin REALLY stands out. You get two tastes at once--the grenadine sweetness & a very strong taste of gin. If you like that (I do), it's great.

I have found the perfect pink lady is: 3 oz Bombay Saphire Gin Juice of one Key Lime 1 tsp Sugar 1 Egg White 1/4 teaspoon Grenadine Shake extremely hard with 4 ice cubes for 2+ minutes. Pour with rocks or strain into crystal martini glass or silver goblet. All guests will love it -guys too!!
