Almost any cocktail can be put into a blender with ice, but it's quite difficult to find someone willing to drink them. Some drinks, though, just beg to be blended - the grasshopper, daiquiri, and pink lemonade are simply splended.
There's a bit of a trick to blending a drink, since most home blenders can't quite handle the ice or frozen fruit. The best approach is to add a couple ounces of the liquid, and to continue to add ice cubes and fruit until they've been reduced. Only then should the rest of the ingredients be added. By adding the fruit and ice cubes slowly, it's easier for the blender to reduce them.
